Creatinine

Description

Creatinine is a non-protein nitrogenous metabolite that is cleared from the body by the kidney and is used to assess renal function. Elevated levels are observed in acute nephritis, renal failure, urinary tract obstruction, shock, dehydration, congestive heart failure and diabetes. This reagent offers up to 18 months of stability from manufacture date, and applications are available for most automated chemistry analyzers.
